Here are just a few of the many exciting features:
Peace of Mind
With Global Backup there's no longer any need to worry about remembering to run the backup routine to safeguard your data; your data will be backed up for you. Add the option for secure off-site storage of your backups to help secure your data in the event of a natural disaster, theft, or other problems that can result in loss of data.
Automated Backup Schedule
Set your Logos programs to backup automatically on a schedule you define. Flexible options include specific days of the week, weekly, daily, first day of the week, first day of the month, and more.
Select Specific Datasets
You control which of your Logos programs and specific datasets are backed up, allowing you to exclude any test or other non-vital datasets you may have created, saving you storage space.
Exclude Pictures Option
You have the option to exclude backup up any pictures you have loaded into your Logos programs, saving you storage space.
Define Your Destination
You can choose any location on your server or another drive (including removable disk and CD drives) available to your network in which to store your backups, helping you to ensure that they are stored in a secure location. You also have the option for secure off-site storage of your backups to help secure your data in the event of a natural disaster, theft, or other problems that can result in loss of data.
Backup to FTP Site
You can also automatically upload your backups to your FTP site, or use Logos' secure FTP storage location to help secure your data in the event of a natural disaster, theft, or other problems that can result in loss of data.
Immediate Backup
At any time you can manually run the global backup for all selected datasets.
Log
At any time you can view a log of completed backups to provide peace of mind that they're running properly.
Minimal Resources
When a backup is scheduled, it will run in the background of your computer using only minimal resources, allowing you to continue working on your computer without interference.
